We have three types of events that we hold throughout the season.

They are our pool parties, our fun jumps and our competitions. Pool parties are a way for new

dock divers to learn this exciting sport, and for our veteran dock divers to condition their pups

and work on improving their skills. Our fun jumps are similar to our competitions where a judge

will stand pool side and post your pup’s distance jumped, but it is during our competitions

whereby you can earn ribbons and medals.

On May 2, 2026, we begin our first event of the season, "Orange U Glad U Came Pool Party!" We will also be hosting a retirement party during this event for the Captain of The Flight Crew Dock Diving Club, Scout Colorado. All dogs of all levels are welcome to participate in this one day event. If your pup is not jumping off of the dock, they can spend their designated time doing ramp work or swimming.

 

On June 6-7. 2026, we will have our first competition of the year called, "R U the Sole Survivor Competition". Will your dog be able to out jump,  out swim and out fly all others to become the Sole Survivor? This competition will be loosely based on the TV show, Survivor. Needless to say, we will do our creative best to thematically add touches from the show for this competition. Please remember if your dog is jumping off of the dock, it doesn't matter how far, they will be able to compete. We have many divisions including one for the Littles called "Piper Cubs." If your pup is not yet going off of the dock, please join us anyways. They can use their designated time on the dock swimming or doing ramp work, plus you both will be able to enjoy all of the "land" games and treats.

 

"Fly 2 Never, Never Land Competition," will be our last event of the season on September 5-6, 2026. Just like J.M. Barrie's book Peter Pan, Neverland.

Neverland is a place where our dogs' eternally stay young and fly through the air to their heart's content. This event will be filled with adventure, and many special moments which capture The Flight Crew's wonderful journey through the dock diving world.

Lear Jet = 12' - 17'11"

Fighter Jet = 18' - 23'11"

Top Gun = 24' & over

 

Flight 2 Catch Divisions:

Cessna = 0'1" - 39'11"

Fighter Jet = 40' - 59'11"

Top Gun = 60' & over

Fighter Jet = 13' - 19'

Top Gun = 20' & over

Need 4 Speed Divisions:

Top Gun = 0.00 - 5.99

Fighter Jet = 6.00 - 6.99

Dreamliner = 7.00 - 7.99

Piper Cub = All Times

 

If you attend one of our events, please let us know if you will need a "holder" for your pup. We will do our best to match you up with someone who is willing to lend a hand (or two.)
